Global search results in DF Studio are “faceted” by default, enabling granular control of the displayed results by filtering the list using individual facets from the overall result set. For example, a keyword search for “exterior” might match many assets which also have the keyword “day”, as well as others with the keyword “night”. Clicking the “day” or “night” facet will narrow the search results to only those matches.
Configure Available Facets
Admin users have the ability to restrict which facets are displayed in search results for all users on the account.
Visit the Settings page and click “In-Account Information Sharing” under the Account Settings heading.
Use the checkboxes to indicate which facets should be available in the search results for assets (such as images, videos, etc.) and Library items (Projects, Collections, and folders). Then click the “Save Changes” button to commit the update.
Set Facet Viewing Preferences
Individual account users can choose up to five search facets (from those made available to them by the settings above) to appear in search results.
Visit the Settings page and click “Viewing Preferences” under the User Settings heading.
Under the Search Result Faceting heading, use the checkboxes to indicate which five facets should be displayed in the search results for assets (such as images, videos, etc.) and the results for Library items (Projects, Collections, and folders). Then click the “Save” button to commit the update.
