An Assignment is a special email that is generated from DF Studio and sent to a photographer or contributor. The email contains a unique upload link that allows the recipient to upload photos without login credentials to access the DF Studio account directly.

1. Click the Assignments tab in the tab bar, and click “New Assignment” from the toolbar.

2. Provide details for the Assignment. A Project name is required, which will be the name of the DF Studio Project where assets are stored when uploaded by the Assignment recipient. Additional Project information, including pre-populated metadata keywords, can be entered as well.

Include any notes for the Assignment recipient in the Assignment Details field; information in the Internal Notes field will be visible only to DF Studio account holders.

3. Click the “Save” button to create the empty Project and send the Assignment key and information to the recipient’s email.
