Setups are sub-groupings within a photography project based on the subjects or events of a photo shoot day. On the desktop, Setups are the sub-folders that a digital technician or photographer will create to divide up a large photo shoot. In DF Studio, this same organizational hierarchy is represented as a list in a drop down menu.
Setups can be created automatically when uploading images, or by selecting and grouping images within DF Studio.
View Images by Setup
In this example, the Project has 48 images, and its Setups are listed under the menu, based on the sub-folders that were uploaded. This type of display is similar to the editing experience in Adobe Lightroom, where multiple folders can be imported and viewed in one proof sheet view but also filtered down to display individual folders.
