DF Studio offers accountholders the option to authenticate via single sign-on (SSO) rather than a standard username and password combination, enhancing security and allowing for centralized management of identity credentials. (This login option is described in greater detail in the guide to Login Methods.)
Because a user’s SSO credentials are tightly linked to their email address, it is not possible for a user’s email address to be modified separately from the SSO identity configuration on their account. Using the “Edit User” page in DF Studio’s settings to change a user’s email address would immediately interrupt the user’s ability to authenticate until the appropriate identity configuration was brought into sync.
As a result, the email field within DF Studio’s settings is not editable on accounts configured for SSO authentication. If adjustments to this field are necessary, please contact DF Studio Support for assistance implementing those changes in coordination with the proper updates to the SSO setup.
