When active, the left-hand sidebar of the DF Studio interface houses a number of controls and features for navigating the folders and assets within the account. In the center are two sections of customizable navigational shortcuts: the Recent and Bookmarks menus.
The most recently visited Projects, Collections, and Messengers (as well as the Bin) will show up in the Recent menu while navigating through the DF Studio interface. These will persist across login sessions.
Any Project, Collection, Messenger, Library folder, or asset can be added to the Bookmarks menu by using the “bookmark” icon in the right-hand Inspector sidebar.
The “bookmark” icon also appears on the image preview in any 1-Up or 2-Up view, or when hovering the mouse pointer over a thumbnail preview image.
To save space within the sidebar, either menu can be collapsed by clicking on its name.
Manage the Recent Menu
The ten most recently visited items will appear in the Recent menu. Click any item to visit it again. To clear the menu, open the contextual menu using the menu icon, then choose “Clear All.”
Older items disappear from the bottom of the Recent menu as new items are visited. Items can be bookmarked directly from the Recent menu so they will persist in the Bookmarks menu. Open the contextual menu and click “Bookmark” to display bookmark icons alongside each item.
Toggle the bookmark icons on or off to manage bookmarks. The Bookmarks menu will update automatically to reflect changes. Click the “finished” icon to hide the bookmark icons again.
Manage the Bookmarks Menu
The Bookmarks menu displays a comprehensive list of all items bookmarked by the current user in the DF Studio account, with the most recently bookmarked items at the top. To clear the menu, open the contextual menu using the menu icon, then choose “Clear All.”
Items can be removed from the Bookmarks menu individually by clicking the bookmark icon in the Inspector sidebar while viewing the item, and can also be removed directly from the Bookmarks menu. Open the contextual menu and click “Edit List” to display “remove” icons alongside each item.
Click the “remove” icon beside any item to remove it from the Bookmarks list. Click the “finished” icon to hide the “remove” icons again.
Bookmarks can also be rearranged so that preferred items stay at the top of the list. Select “Arrange Items” from the contextual menu, then use the “grab” icons to drag items from the list into the preferred order. Click the “finished” icon to hide the “grab” icons.
Organize Assets Using Quick-Access Buttons
When assets are selected in the DF Studio workspace, quick-access buttons will appear alongside Projects, Collections, and the Bin in both menus from the Navigational Shortcuts area. Click these buttons to add selected assets directly to a Collection, or move them from their current source Project into a Project from the Recent or Bookmarks list.
