Edits store select levels within DF Studio Projects or Collections. Edits may be created by DF Studio users or Messenger recipients, or by combining existing Edits. In some cases, it may be useful to create an exact copy of an existing Edit—to explore options without losing a prior version, or to allow separate users to submit their own select levels from a common starting point.
To begin, select the desired Edit from the Edits menu. This will display the select levels from the source Edit.
Next, click “Select all” from the menu bar above the proofsheet. This will ensure that the same set of assets is included in the duplicated Edit.
Then, open the Create a New Edit overlay, by clicking the plus sign to the right of the Edits menu.
Provide a name for the new Edit in the Create a New Edit overlay, then select “Use current edit” in the Initial Selects section and “Selected Images” in the Include Images section.
Click the “Create New Edit” button to generate and display the new duplicate Edit.
