DF Studio storage charges (for files in Active Storage, Cold Storage, and Cooling Storage) are billed based on the average daily storage amount over the duration of the billing cycle (i.e., the previous calendar month).

This way, as files are added over the course of the month, the account is not charged for the larger amount at the end of the month. Similarly, if storage is removed just prior to the end of the month, it will have little impact on the storage charges for the month.

A pre-configured amount of Active Storage is included for free with each DF Studio account (see the pricing page for details). This discount applies only to Active Storage usage and does not affect the pricing for files in Cold Storage.
