The DF Studio Multi-Messenger, exclusive to enterprise accounts, allows users to queue multiple Projects (up to 25 total) and send them all in one convenient Messenger link. For instance, a television network may need to provide the coverage of a show’s entire season to the producing studio or a design agency. With the Multi-Messenger, the resulting Messenger opens one link with a table of contents providing access to each of the Projects or Collections. The recipient can navigate from one Project to the next in one browser window. For file importing purposes, the Messenger’s single link will import all assets, keeping all Project and Setup organization intact.
1. Sending a Multi-Messenger begins with queueing Projects or Collections to be included. This step can be accomplished in a few ways.
a) Inside a Project folder, select any Project or Collection, then click “Queue for Send” in the Project Inspector.
b) When viewing all Projects, select one or several Projects, then click “Queue for Send” in the Inspector.
c) Inside a Project or Collection, deselect all assets to view the Project Inspector and click “Queue for Send” to queue the current job.
2. Once all of the necessary containers (Projects or Collections) have been queued, click the “Send Queued” button in the left navigation bar to set up the Multi-Messenger.
A maximum of 25 containers can be shared in a single Multi-Messenger.
3. An initial overlay will appear, previewing the Projects and Collections to be included in the Multi-Messenger. If necessary, items can be removed from this list before proceeding. Click “Continue” to enter the New Messenger Overlay.
Notes are not available for Multi-Messengers, and assets in a Multi-Messenger cannot be rearranged because they are organized into their originating Projects or Collections, but the rest of the options will match the normal Messenger workflow.
