The Upload User is a DF Studio user with a username and password, but limited access to the DF Studio account; Upload Users can only create Projects and upload files. An Upload User is somewhat similar to an FTP user on a shared server, in that the user has access only to see and create folders and Projects in his or her own directory.

Upload Users can upload normally to any of their Projects or folders using external upload tools like DFS Speed Link and Photo Mechanic. Upload Users may also connect to DF Studio from a web browser to use a special “upload-only” web interface.
