For users running DFS Downloader version 1.5 or older, it is recommended that the DFS Downloader app be uninstalled from the system before installing a newer version. Follow the steps below.

Uninstall From macOS

1. Locate the DFS Downloader application (in most cases it will be in the Applications folder). If necessary, right-click the DFS Downloader icon in the Dock while it is running, then choose “Show in Finder” from the Options submenu.

2. Drag the DFS Downloader application to the Trash.

Uninstall from Windows

1. Locate the “Uninstall DF Studio Downloader” item in the Windows Start menu.

2. Launch the uninstall program. This will open a screen titled “JWrapper,” which will complete the process of removing the prior version.
