Projects are the basic containers for sets of images in DF Studio. Moving images from their current Project to a new Project can be accomplished using the “Move to New Project” button. (To move images to a different Project that already exists, see Move Images to an Existing Project.)
When assets are moved to another Project, Edits and Select levels are automatically moved with them in most cases. See Migrate Edits and Selects for steps to migrate Messenger-based Edits, or multiple Edits with matching names.
1. In any view, click to select those images that will move to a new Project.
Click an image while holding the Command key (Mac) or Control key (Windows/Linux) to add it to an existing selection. To select all images between an existing selection and a new image, click while holding the Shift key instead.
2. Click the “Move to New Project” button in the Asset Inspector.
3. Complete the move by creating a new Project. If necessary, the Project may be placed into an appropriate Folder.
The selected images will move to the new Project, not place a copy in both Projects. To create duplicate images, files must be re-uploaded into a new Project.
